The Mindful Motorcycle Podcast Returns with The Body Coach Joe Wicks

Child Watering a Green shoot

We’re delighted to share that the third series of mindful motorcycle show “The Nod” Pod launches today.

And it’s looking gorgeous on YouTube too!

In the first episode, the wonderful @iambenbowers and @CharleyBoorman ride to visit fitness legend Joe Wicks @thebodycoach at his home. They chat bikes and the connection between mental and physical health. Plus Joe shares some of the fine bikes in his collection! My 2 year-old son checked the final edit on this and he likes the ‘yellow one’.

Joe’s an amazing guy on a mission to help others. He talks about his relationship with his mobile phone and the need to ‘unplug’, as well as his passion and path to success.

The Mindful Motorcycle Podcast

If you haven’t found the Nod before, then you should know that Ben, Charley and the currently elusive @iammrpartridgemeet with fellow motorcycle lovers to talk about the hobby they love and so much more. It’s a mental health podcast for people who might find a hobby is the thing that connects them to the community and camaraderie that can help us all through tough times.

Mental wellbeing for men

Overcoming taboo, work stress, toxic masculine stereotypes, comparison and isolation is challenging for every man, but our world changes for the better with every conversation that connects us and every person who demonstrates the true strength of being vulnerable.

There are some wonderful, smart, brave, funny, inspiring people on the series to come and the common threads I’ve noticed are how we can all work towards better mental and physical health and fitness with small changes. And it all starts with good friends and open conversation, connection with the outdoors, good sleep, nutrition and the ability to unplug and enjoy meditative activities. Like biking. In fact, research says it’s great for your brain… but we’ll leave that for a later episode.

I’m blown away by these incredible people sharing their minds, thoughts, experiences and wisdoms to help others through tough times and hope that many, many people can discover these stories. Thank you chaps for letting me work with you on these. Here’s to better mental fitness for everyone.
